Commentarii Roamani Hello Roamans! This edition covers the three new extensions June brought to Roam Depot. Keep reading for a breakdown on what each one does and how to use it :) Reminder: To install an extension, go to the left sidebar, and open Roam Depot. Search for the extension and click Install. Each extension comes with a detailed description from its creator. Alias FinderAlias Finder by Ryan Sonneck turns unlinked alias mentions into real links. Here's how it works: Say you want to write "Debussy" instead of "Claude Debussy" but you still want it to reference the [[Claude Debussy]] page. You would normally do this with an alias, by typing Now, with Alias Finder, once you write that alias even once, the extension knows "Debussy" stands for [[Claude Debussy]]. So the next time you open the [[Claude Debussy]]] page, you can scroll to the bottom and press Find unlinked aliases, and every plain text "Debussy" across your graph will appear for you to link in one click 👇
Audio FeedbackAudio Feedback by William Njau adds a subtle sound to common actions you already take in Roam. You check a TODO, collapse a block, indent a line, or jump to a new page, and each one plays a short satisfying sound that confirms what you did.
Oura RingOura Ring by MaskyS syncs your Oura data into your graph as editable, queryable blocks. It pulls your sleep, readiness, activity, vitals, and workouts from the Oura API, and it stores everything on one page that gives each day its own block. Each day shows compact visual cards for things like your sleep summary, heart rate trends, and activity load. Setup takes an Oura access token and a couple of settings in Roam Depot. See the extension description for more details, and the full setup instructions from the creator, MaskyS! Change LogHere is what changed in Roam recently! Bug fixes 🐜
Roam also added a new section to its privacy policy to prepare for the upcoming remote MCP. Stay tuned, exciting stuff coming! Join our Slack channel here, and don’t forget to check out the Roam help graph for more news from us ♥︎ Until next time, Roamans!
